Back in at the start of the year, Alex - Assassin of Sound, produced a weekly series of recordings taken from different trees and plants using a device which converted the electrical pulses of the subject in to MIDI data, which Alex then used to create his tracks.
I was taken by the dark, sub bass heavy sounds of his release 'Yukka' and asked if I could remix it. Alex agreed and then the pandemic happened. It wasn't until a couple of months later that I finally got around to using the stems and completing the remix.
On sending it to Alex, he messaged me back and very kindly said he absolutely loved it and could he remix my remix?! I didn't say no and on hearing his remix I'm glad I didn't!
We're offering the 2 remixes as a 'pay-what-you-want' option and releasing them on the 07/08 which is another Bandcamp Friday promo, meaning the artists get 100% of all sales. This time is particularly important as we're donating all income from the remixes to the Lebanese Red Cross to help in some small way with the disaster they find themselves in right now.
So dig deep you generous bastards and help an extremely decent and worthwhile cause.
Thank you and we very much hope you enjoy the remixes.

Ho!lala! que c'est bon! Écoutez ça! Fallait que je me l'achète! C'est de l'électro pour focusser. Cet album est génial pour reconnecter sur soi! J'aime beaucoup la pièce The Machine That Made Eternity. Lavinie Cloutier
